The Advisory Board (AB) provides advice and input to the General Assembly (GA) and the Secretariat. It is comprised of no more than six members, including representatives of the GA as well as outside parties with expertise in areas related to ACHA’s work. The AB meets annually and is limited to a composition of 50 percent GA representatives and 50 percent outside parties. Furthermore, at any given time. no more than one former member of the ACHA steering committee may sit on the AB as one of the three non-GA members. AB members are elected for three year terms with re-election feasible only one time after initial election and only after the passing of two consecutive terms.
