Presenting African perspectives, concerns and priorities, and fostering humanitarian partnership

ACHA is a forum to strengthen the African CSO community through enhanced dialogue, development of collective views and actions, articulation of an African-minded agenda on humanitarian issues of concern to African CSOs, and improved leverage.  It acts as an African voice at an international level, informing, impacting, alerting and inspiring the international community, thereby shaping humanitarian thinking, practice and organisation. It enhances the visibility of African CSOs worldwide, thus facilitating their relationship with institutional donors. It advocates policies and practices determined by African CSOs, in consultation with actors concerned with humanitarian action on the continent.
